About the role

The Relationship Banker II provides banking services to customers at the Waterbury branch, supporting sales, service, and operational goals while delivering high‑quality financial solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Process teller transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, loan payments, and other routine banking activities.
• Identify customer needs through needs‑based conversations, recommend appropriate products, and generate leads to grow relationships.
• Support branch growth by executing sales, retention, and profitability initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and internal policies and meet audit requirements.
• Coach and supervise fellow bankers, assist with onboarding, and act as a role model.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3‑4 years of customer‑service and banking‑sales experience; 0‑2 years supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication, active listening, and teamwork abilities.
• Flexibility to work rotating schedules, including weekends and extended hours.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of branch transaction‑processing systems.
• Familiarity with all banking products and services.
