Azure Solution Architect

About the role

We are seeking an Azure Solution Architect to join our dynamic consulting team. You will lead the design, build, and deployment of SaaS solutions in a private Microsoft Azure environment, applying industry best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning and technology roadmaps for a major federal agency.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and robust Azure cloud solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle and ensure security, reliability, and performance of Azure systems.

Required profile

• Extensive experience designing and implementing Azure solutions, including infrastructure, networking, and security.
• Strong background in systems analysis, solution development for government requirements, and cloud migration projects.
• 4‑year degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills; ability to work independently or in a team.

Required skills

• Azure services: Virtual Machines, Azure Active Directory, App Service, Storage, Functions.
• Scripting and automation: PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM templates.
• DevOps tools: Azure DevOps, GitHub.
• Cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with SAP S/4 HANA hybrid environments.
