Attorney/Lawyer – Document Review (Bloomfield Hills, MI)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Attorney/Lawyer to join a long‑term document review engagement in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. The role begins on‑site and may transition to remote work as the project evolves.

Key responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and categorize large volumes of legal documents to support case and investigation needs.
• Identify relevant, privileged, and sensitive materials while adhering to established review guidelines.
• Maintain accuracy and consistency under tight project deadlines.
• Utilize document review platforms, including GoldFynch, to code and manage records efficiently.
• Collaborate with legal teams to flag unusual findings, resolve review questions, and ensure scope alignment.
• Track progress and follow quality‑control procedures to produce defensible review outcomes.

Required profile

• Active license to practice law in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of legal experience, preferably with document review.
• Prior experience in a law firm, corporate legal department, or review project setting.
• Familiarity with electronic discovery tools; GoldFynch experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and sound judgment.
• Ability to work on‑site initially with flexibility for remote work later.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time‑management skills.
