Associate, Transaction Management

About the role

The Associate, Transaction Management role supports US SCIB Lending Solutions by managing complex leveraged and structured finance transactions from approval through closing, booking, funding and lifecycle hand‑off. You will work closely with front‑office, legal, credit and operations teams to ensure transactions meet all regulatory, KYC/AML and operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and close leveraged, structured, syndicated and bilateral financing deals, coordinating checklists, documentation, fund flows and stakeholder readiness.
• Maintain approval‑to‑book controls, tracking KYC/AML diligence, legal documentation, collateral requirements and system setup for accurate booking and funding.
• Manage amendments, waivers, extensions and other lifecycle events, ensuring all required approvals are obtained and hand‑off to portfolio management and servicing teams.
• Contribute to process improvement by developing procedures, playbooks and training materials, and by identifying recurring issues for control enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3‑6 years of experience in portfolio management, credit analysis, lending, agency or related risk‑management roles.
• Strong attention to detail, escalation discipline and ability to work under time pressure across multiple complex closings.

Required skills

• Experience with Loan IQ or comparable loan booking/servicing platforms.
• Knowledge of leveraged finance and structured finance transaction structures, credit agreements and fund flows.
• Understanding of KYC/AML requirements and control environments.
