Senior Manager – Trade & Supply Chain Services

About the role

The Senior Manager will lead ANZ's U.S. Trade & Supply Chain Services team, delivering high‑quality, client‑focused service across trade operations. You will work closely with Relationship Managers, Sales, and Product teams to ensure accurate, timely execution of trade transactions while maintaining strong risk and governance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the U.S. Trade & Supply Chain Services team and oversee day‑to‑day operations, workflow management, and capacity planning.
• Ensure trade transactions are processed accurately, efficiently, and in line with risk policies, regulatory requirements, and service level agreements.
• Act as the escalation point for client and operational issues, driving timely resolution.
• Build and maintain relationships with Relationship Managers, Transaction Banking Sales, Product teams, and the broader TSCO network.
• Drive continuous improvement, process optimisation, and automation to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Oversee operational controls, approvals, and governance activities to ensure compliance.
• Coach, develop, and motivate a high‑performing team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning.

Required profile

• In‑depth knowledge of Trade Finance and Supply Chain products, including Receivables, Payables, Letters of Credit, Guarantees, and Standby Letters of Credit, with familiarity with ICC rules.
• Extensive experience in Trade Operations within a client‑service environment, preferably using a Hub‑and‑Spoke delivery model.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams and collaborating with Sales, Product, and global operations.
• Strong analytical capability to assess complex transactions, identify risks, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Professional certifications such as CDCS or CSDG are highly regarded.
