Associate Manager – Retail Store

About the role

The Associate Manager supports the Store Manager in leading the Market Street Store, ensuring brand standards, customer satisfaction, and financial performance. This role acts as the store’s second‑in‑command, stepping in to manage daily operations when the Store Manager is absent.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute store business strategies, track performance, and drive sales across all categories.
• Lead training and development for new hires and existing team members on culture, product knowledge, and loss‑prevention.
• Manage operational results including payroll, scheduling, cash handling, inventory control, and store opening/closing procedures.
• Supervise floor changes, promotional events, and ensure visual standards are met.
• Address consumer concerns promptly and uphold high‑service standards.

Required profile

• 5+ years progressive retail leadership experience, including 3+ years in a store management role.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lb and perform typical store duties (standing, walking, kneeling, etc.).
• Strong business acumen, collaborative mindset, and commitment to diversity and inclusion.
