Assembly Technician

About the role

Matrix designs, manufactures, and sells innovative technological products. The Assembly Technician assembles components, sub‑assemblies and finished goods to defined specifications in a climate‑controlled environment at the Newburgh, IN facility.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings and process documentation.
• Assemble components and electronic parts, perform in‑process and final tests, and document manufacturing procedures.
• Calibrate, test and maintain production and test equipment, and operate warehouse equipment such as fork trucks and pallet jacks.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with 3‑5 years of technical assembly or manufacturing experience.
• Excellent hand‑eye coordination, manual dexterity and ability to work independently within established standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience operating fork trucks, pallet jacks and work‑assist vehicles.
• Ability to calibrate and test production equipment.
