ARRT Technologist

About the role

The Radiologic Technologist provides patient services using radiologic imaging equipment and records the exams for radiologist interpretation. The role may also support other medical imaging divisions as trained.

Key responsibilities

• Demonstrates schedule flexibility, punctuality, and works well under pressure.
• Communicates complex information, prioritizes tasks, and coordinates with hospital personnel and physicians.
• Provides personal care, safe patient transfers, and uses adaptive equipment such as Hoyer lifts.
• Performs radiologic services according to department policies, regulatory guidance, and physician orders while ensuring patient safety.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• At least 6 months of experience as a registered radiographer preferred.
• Registered Radiographer – ARRT(R) or eligible to obtain registration within 30 days of hire.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.

Required skills

• Operation of radiologic imaging equipment.
• Knowledge of patient safety and infection control procedures.
• Ability to handle confidential materials and comply with corporate compliance plans.
