Armed Guard – Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo (Secret Clearance)

About the role
The Armed Guard will protect the U.S. Army’s Camp Bondsteel installation in Pristina, Kosovo. Working on a U.S. Government contract, you will ensure the safety of the base, its facilities and tenants while maintaining a high level of professionalism and adherence to security protocols.
Key responsibilities
- Control access to the installation, including the gym, PX, Burger King and MWR facilities.
- Conduct roving patrols and static guard duties across the base perimeter.
- Perform surveillance and monitoring of CCTV and other security systems.
- Respond to incidents, enforce base regulations and provide immediate protection.
- Maintain detailed logs and reports of security activities.
Required profile
- U.S. citizen with a valid U.S. passport.
- Current or sponsorable U.S. Secret clearance.
- Minimum two years recent experience in armed security, armed law‑enforcement or military armed operations.
- Completion of a state‑recognized security or law‑enforcement academy (or equivalent military training).
- Clean criminal record, able to pass NCIC/FBI background check and random drug testing.
- Medical fitness and ability to pass a physical test (1.5 mi run ≤ 17:30 min, 21 push‑ups in 2 min).
Required skills
- Knowledge of security operations and basic force‑protection concepts.
- Strong written and oral communication abilities.
- Capability to work in varied weather and terrain conditions.
