Area Manager

About the role

The Area Manager leads day‑to‑day field and customer service operations for a Main Street Renewal branch, overseeing customer service, maintenance, and renovation/turnover departments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage staff recruitment, training, performance reviews and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Oversee customer service policies, schedule maintenance technicians, and act as primary contact for resident escalations.
• Conduct field audits, quality inspections, and ensure homes meet company standards before move‑in.
• Handle community management, HOA liaison, eviction hearings, occupancy checks, and lockout coordination.
• Monitor and improve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and branch NOI.
• Lead group projects to enhance business operations and enforce health, safety, and legal regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or 3‑5 years as a Regional/District Manager with focus on maintenance, renovation, customer service, and asset management.
• Experience managing at least two managers, each with five direct reports.
• Proven financial management experience, including profit‑and‑loss reporting and budgeting.
• Excellent communication and people skills; Real Estate License preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Experience using project management and tenant management systems.
