Agile Coach (Hybrid – NYC)

About the role

Next Generation, Inc. is looking for an experienced Agile Coach to lead enterprise‑level Agile transformation initiatives. This hybrid position requires some on‑site presence in New York City and will work closely with product teams, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Coach large‑scale Agile transformation initiatives, aligning them with strategic objectives and measurable business outcomes.
• Design and deliver interactive workshops, training programs, and hands‑on labs on Agile principles, tools, and methodologies.
• Drive continuous improvement by facilitating retrospectives, analyzing performance metrics, and recommending actionable strategies.
• Standardize Agile practices, ceremonies, and workflows across the organization using Jira, Confluence, Align, and other Atlassian tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of software development experience and at least 8 years in Agile coaching roles.
• Certified Agile Coach (ICP‑ACC, ICP‑ATF), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) or equivalent.
• Strong systems‑thinking ability and experience navigating complex organizational structures.

Required skills

• Agile frameworks: Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS.
• Atlassian tools: Jira, Confluence, Align.
• DevOps practices: CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, TDD, pairing.
