Advisory Solutions Consultant - Enterprise (Pre-Sales)

About the role

SailPoint, an AI-driven security platform, is looking for an Advisory Solutions Consultant (pre-sales Solution Engineer) to support the US Southeast sales regions for Enterprise accounts. You will partner with the sales teams by combining technical ability and business acumen to help grow the business.

Key responsibilities

• Take part actively in the sales process and work closely with direct and channel sales teams
• Discover customer requirements and align SailPoint's solutions to them
• Present SailPoint's business functions, value and competitive differences
• Deliver product demonstrations to prospective customers
• Help develop RFP responses with the RFP response team
• Take part in onsite and remote Proof of Value (POV) evaluations
• Give feedback to Product Management on product enhancements

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience as a pre-sales technical resource in an enterprise software company (B2B)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Preferred: 3+ years working with Identity, Governance and Access Management solutions
• Preferred: BA/BS or global equivalent; 8 years of related experience
• Residence in Georgia, North Carolina or South Carolina preferred; about 25% travel expected, mainly in the Southeast US

Required skills

• Working knowledge of web services, application servers, databases, virtualization and directories
• Conversant with modern SaaS architecture
• Familiarity with Java, XML, LDAP, SQL, JSON and Azure/AWS/GCP is desirable
