Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA/CNS) Dermatology I

About the role

The Department of Dermatology at Union Hospital is seeking a full‑time Advanced Practice Provider (NP, PA, or CNS) to deliver high‑quality dermatologic care to patients of all ages.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive full‑body skin examinations and manage a wide range of routine dermatologic conditions.
• Perform dermatologic procedures such as soft‑tissue biopsies, intralesional injections, electrodessication & curettage, benign lesion destruction, liquid nitrogen therapy, and skin KOH testing.
• Document and order appropriate labs, radiology, and other tests; interpret results to develop treatment plans.
• Prescribe and monitor medications within scope of licensure and collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team.

Required profile

• Minimum one year of experience in a high‑volume general and surgical dermatology practice (or equivalent dermatology rotations for new graduates).
• Calm under pressure, analytical, detail‑oriented, flexible, and committed to lifelong learning.
• Licensed as an NP, PA, or CNS in the applicable state with national certification and BLS certification.

Required skills

• Proficiency in dermatologic procedures: biopsies, intralesional injections, electrodessication & curettage, liquid nitrogen therapy, skin KOH.
• Experience using EPIC electronic medical record system.
• Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as required.
