About the role

Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Cardiology team at Tradition Hospital. The role involves clinic day rotations, inpatient rounding, and stress testing, providing comprehensive cardiovascular care.

Key responsibilities

Conduct clinic day rotations, inpatient rounding and cardiac stress testing.
Obtain and interpret laboratory, radiology and cardiographic studies as credentialed.
Prescribe and monitor medications within scope of practice.
Educate patients about disease processes, treatment plans and medication side effects.

Required profile

MSN or Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies; APRN certification required.
Current state licensure as Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with DEA registration.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.

Required skills

Cardiac stress testing and interpretation of cardiographic procedures.
Medication prescribing and management within state regulations.
