Workplace Generalist

About the role

Rho is seeking a Workplace Generalist in New York to create a world‑class office experience. This in‑office role will manage programming, space planning, vendor relationships, and day‑to‑day office operations.

Key responsibilities

• Own NYC workplace programming calendar end‑to‑end, from concept through execution, managing logistics and budget.
• Partner with People & Experience on space planning, sublease transitions, and new‑market buildouts.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for workplace and space, building trust across departments.
• Monitor office supplies, equipment, cleanliness, and manage inventory and procurement.
• Maintain vendor roster for cleaning, maintenance, catering, and security, handling sourcing and management.
• Oversee first‑day and last‑day employee experiences, including access provisioning.
• Build systems for tracking, documentation, and handoffs to make workplace processes visible.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years in events, hospitality, workplace, or operations.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to handle unglamorous tasks.
• Professional discretion when interacting with visitors, executives, and sensitive information.
• Excellent time‑management and ability to prioritize work.
