Vice President, Field CISO – Commercial (North America)

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Vice President, Field CISO, Commercial for North America to act as a senior security advisor, engage directly with top‑level customer executives and shape strategic partnerships that position Mastercard as a trusted authority in cyber resilience, fraud and digital trust.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior customer executives, including CISOs, CIOs, CROs and Boards.
• Provide strategic guidance on cybersecurity, cyber resilience, fraud, digital trust, risk management and emerging technologies.
• Lead executive briefings, advisory sessions and strategic customer engagements.
• Capture customer insights and market trends to influence product, engineering and innovation roadmaps.
• Partner with Sales, Product and Services teams to support strategic customer opportunities and drive revenue growth.
• Represent Mastercard at industry conferences, executive forums and CISO communities.

Required profile

• Extensive leadership experience in cybersecurity, information security or technology risk.
• Prior experience as a CISO, Deputy CISO or senior security leader advising executive stakeholders.
• Proven ability to influence C‑suite and Board‑level decision makers.
• Strong executive presence and exceptional communication skills.
• Background in highly regulated industries such as financial services or payments is preferred.
