US Market Access Postdoctoral Research Fellow

About the role

The US Market Access fellowship is a two‑year, full‑time position based in Cambridge, MA, partnering with Alnylam Pharmaceuticals and Northeastern University. Fellows will work on payer, reimbursement, and pricing strategies for RNAi therapeutics, gaining hands‑on experience across commercial and medical functions.

Key responsibilities

• Execute strategic and tactical US Market Access plans for Alnylam’s portfolio.
• Create field tools and training materials for external customer engagements.
• Lead congress planning, including material creation and sponsorship management.
• Analyze competitive dynamics affecting coverage, pricing, and reimbursement.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with US Marketing, Global Value & Access, Medical Affairs, and other teams.
• Participate in annual investment planning and ensure alignment with brand strategies.

Required profile

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an ACPE‑accredited institution.
• Eligibility for pharmacist licensure in Massachusetts.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong time‑management and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative on projects at both the industry site and Northeastern.
• Previous exposure to US Managed Care through coursework or research (professional experience not required).
