Title Examiner – Remote (US)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Title Examiner to conduct thorough research of public real property records and produce accurate title abstracts for our clients. This remote position requires strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.

Key responsibilities

• Research public real property records to determine title status and encumbrances.
• Review and interpret documents such as mortgages, deeds, probate records, and trust agreements.
• Assemble Title Abstracts/Reports of various types for client delivery.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of Texas title abstracting/examination experience.
• Strong understanding of title examination processes, related documentation, and legal terminology.
• Residential examination experience with acreage (metes and bounds) preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, detail‑oriented, and strong customer service skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Title Data (TIMS) title plant software.
• Experience using Deed Plotter software.
• Familiarity with county government websites for research.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Acrobat.
