Leasing Professional (Part‑Time)

About the role

The Leasing Professional supports the community’s marketing, leasing and renewal strategies to meet occupancy and revenue goals. This part‑time position works Monday‑Friday with rotating weekends, handling prospect tours, lease processing and resident satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, process applications, credit and background checks, and prepare lease packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, coordinate any maintenance needed, and ensure units are ready for new residents.
• Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, including online listings, resident referral programs and employer outreach.
• Use property management software (OneSite, Yardi, etc.) to track availability, record traffic, and manage resident data.
• Maintain show units and marketing corridors to company standards, coordinating with maintenance for upkeep.
• Follow up with prospects and residents via email, calls or cards to secure leases and renewals.
• Prepare renewal letters, meet with renewing residents, and ensure timely signing of renewal documents.
• Respond promptly to resident and owner concerns, documenting and escalating issues as needed.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license (required to operate a golf cart on the property).
• All state and local licenses or certifications required for leasing activities.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders and lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance).
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays, and to be on‑call as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Strong knowledge of leasing processes, credit screening and lease documentation.
