About the role

NRL's RSD is seeking a Test and Integration Engineer to support a multi‑institution program developing specialized unmanned autonomous vehicles. The role involves delivering integrated software packages for communication autonomy and can be performed part‑time with a mix of onsite and remote work.

Key responsibilities

Develop and execute unit tests for software components.
Manage configuration of the software stack using Docker and version control tools.
Simulate system performance and conduct laboratory validation.
Document code and integration processes with Integration Control Documents.
Support minor travel for on‑site activities as needed.

Required profile

Actively completing a bachelor’s degree or higher in science, mathematics, engineering or a related field.
Minimum two years of test and integration experience.
U.S. citizenship is required.
