Technical Recruiter – Engineering

About the role

Ramp is seeking a Technical Recruiter focused on engineering talent to help shape how the company identifies, evaluates, and hires world‑class engineers. This craft role owns the full recruiting pipeline and partners directly with engineering leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Partner closely with engineering leaders to understand role requirements and translate high‑level direction into targeted searches.
• Manage full‑cycle recruiting for multiple complex engineering searches, from first touch to signed offer.
• Build and execute deep sourcing strategies, collaborating with the sourcing team on creative pipelines and competitor mapping.
• Maintain pipeline data integrity, provide data‑centric updates, and surface funnel issues early.
• Drive offer processes, negotiations, and generate offer letters.
• Act as a strategic advisor, anticipating hiring needs and shaping recruitment strategy.
• Lead initiatives to improve recruiting quality and speed, such as interview loops and scorecards.

Required profile

• 5+ years of full‑cycle technical recruiting or sourcing experience at a high‑growth tech company or startup.
• Proven track record hiring for deeply technical engineering roles and ability to discuss work beyond titles.
• Strong written and verbal storytelling communication skills.
• Data‑driven decision making and ability to influence stakeholders at various levels.
• Detail‑oriented, operationally strong, and comfortable navigating ambiguity.
• Genuine care for candidate experience.

Required skills

• Experience building and using AI tools across recruiting stages.
• Expertise in sourcing techniques and recruiting tooling.
