Summer Internship - Digital/AI Transformation

About the role

Are you passionate about Digital & AI technologies and change management? Are you looking for an impactful internship driving modern workplace transformation? Airbus is looking for a Summer Intern - Digital/AI Transformation to join our Aftermarket Customer Services department in Herndon, VA. You will work closely with management, digital, and technical teams to shape work styles and operational processes.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and send change communications, plan workshops, and coordinate logistics for engagement events.
• Gather user feedback, assess adoption rates of AI and digital tools, and support continuous improvement of change activities.
• Serve as a strategic partner in planning change initiatives and create high‑impact presentation slides for leadership.
• Act as liaison between change management, digital, and tech teams, translating technical concepts into business strategies.
• Support ad‑hoc departmental tasks and continuous improvement activities.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, IT or a related technical discipline.
• Demonstrated academic or project experience in CS and AI, with exposure to change‑management or digital‑transformation initiatives.
• Experience working with Scrum and the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) for digital product development.
• Fluency in English; French or German language skills are a plus.
