Speech-Language Pathologist – Home Health/Clinic

About the role

The SPEAK Center for Language and Learning is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in children with developmental disabilities across Arizona.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized, evidence‑based treatment plans and provide therapeutic interventions.
• Collaborate with occupational therapists, physical therapists, psychologists, and educators for coordinated care.
• Supervise SLPAs and interns, attend bi‑monthly staff meetings, and educate families on communication strategies.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology and valid AZ licensure.
• Fingerprint Clearance Card, CPR/First Aid/Article 9 training, and professional liability insurance.
• Experience working with children with developmental disabilities and strong clinical assessment skills.
• Compassionate, patient‑centered approach with ability to work independently and in a team.

Required skills

• Clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for speech and language disorders.
• Knowledge of evidence‑based therapeutic techniques for articulation, language comprehension, expressive language, fluency, and voice.
