About the role

The Iberian Pig is a modern Spanish tapas restaurant seeking a passionate, detail‑oriented Special Events Coordinator to lead the planning and execution of private events, group dining experiences, and special activations. The coordinator will act as the bridge between guests and the restaurant team, ensuring every event reflects warmth, precision, and the brand’s high standards of hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all private dining and group event inquiries.
• Collaborate with guests to design customized experiences that match their vision, preferences, and budget.
• Work closely with the General Manager, Chef, and Service Team to coordinate menus, wine pairings, staffing, and logistics.
• Prepare detailed event proposals, contracts, and floor plans.
• Manage event timelines from inquiry to execution, handling deposits, confirmations, and post‑event follow‑up.
• Ensure all events are executed to CHG standards—polished, on‑time, and guest‑focused.
• Maintain accurate event records, financial tracking, and reporting.
• Build relationships with local partners, vendors, and community organizations to grow event opportunities.
