Dining Room Manager – Modern Spanish Tapas Restaurant

About the role

The Iberian Pig is a modern Spanish tapas restaurant in Charlotte. The Dining Room Manager ensures a seamless, high‑quality dining experience by leading the dining room team, maintaining service standards, coordinating with the kitchen, and optimizing operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Guest Experience – train service members, provide table touches, and create guest connections.
• Accounting & Administrative – maintain accurate internal accounting systems.
• Marketing & Sales – keep the reservation system updated, maximize availability and sales, and support off‑site outreach.
• Human Resources – conduct interviews, make hiring decisions, and manage onboarding and training for new service staff.
• Operations – oversee day‑to‑day operations, including opening and closing shifts.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hospitality experience with proven leadership as a Lead Server, Dining Room Manager, or equivalent in a fine‑dining setting.
• Physical ability to bend, stretch, twist, climb, stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 lb without assistance.
