About the role

Advantia Health is seeking experienced Sonographers to join its OB/GYN practice across multiple locations in Maryland. The role involves providing high‑quality ultrasound imaging while delivering compassionate patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Calibrate, maintain, and operate all ultrasound equipment.
• Perform OB, anatomy, growth, Doppler, and GYN scans, including saline‑infused sonohysterograms.
• Capture still images and video for physicians and patients, and promptly notify physicians of any abnormalities.
• Document ultrasound results, manage patient scheduling, and ensure timely patient flow.
• Provide reassurance to nervous patients and adhere to practice policies regarding communication.

Required profile

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonography from a CAAHEP‑accredited program.
• Current ARDMS certification with OB/GYN specialty.
• At least 1 year of sonography experience, preferably in OB/GYN.
• Strong understanding of human anatomy and clear communication skills.

Required skills

• Ultrasound equipment operation and calibration.
• OB/GYN ultrasound imaging, including Doppler and sonohysterography.
• Image acquisition and documentation.
