About the role

As a Software Engineer I – New Grad you will join Samsara’s Connected Operations platform in San Francisco and immediately work on real‑world projects that power industrial IoT solutions. You will receive full‑time engineer responsibilities, high ownership, and access to cutting‑edge AI tools to accelerate learning and delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services that ingest and store data from thousands of hardware assets.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to build full‑stack features and intuitive user experiences.
• Contribute to mobile development, improving performance and maintainability of the React Native app.
• Work on embedded software for edge AI, multimedia processing, power management, and real‑time data handling.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration pipelines.

Required profile

• Recent graduate (or graduating soon) with a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and enthusiasm for learning new technologies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team.
