ServiceNow Project Manager – Technology Modernization

About the role

Next Generation Inc. is looking for an experienced ServiceNow Project Manager to lead modernization initiatives for a large public‑sector transportation environment. The role involves planning, executing, and delivering ServiceNow implementations and enhancements while aligning with business goals and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of ServiceNow modernization projects, including new implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and risk registers.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams of business stakeholders, technical staff, vendors, and system integrators.
• Manage stakeholder expectations through clear communication, status reporting, and issue escalation.
• Facilitate project governance activities, steering committee updates, and executive communications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience delivering enterprise technology initiatives and at least 2 years as a Project Manager on complex technology projects.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work with both technical teams and business users.

Required skills

• ServiceNow platform implementation and modernization.
• Project planning and execution methodologies (Agile, hybrid, traditional).
• Risk and issue management throughout the project lifecycle.
