Senior Technical Sourcer

About the role

Saronic Technologies, a leader in autonomous maritime solutions, is seeking a Senior Technical Sourcer to build pipelines of world‑class engineering talent. You will focus on hard‑to‑find specialists in autonomous systems, robotics, AI/ML, hardware, and electrical engineering within a fast‑paced defense environment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage passive candidates across Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Robotics, Electrical, Embedded, Autonomy, and Systems Engineering.
• Design creative sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, referrals, events, and targeted research.
• Maintain long‑term talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
• Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to define search strategies and priorities.
• Conduct initial technical screens and assess eligibility for defense‑related roles.
• Track sourcing metrics, provide market insights, and continuously improve effectiveness.
• Ensure accurate records in the ATS and deliver a high‑quality candidate experience.

Required profile

• 5+ years of technical sourcing or recruiting experience, with at least 3 years focused on deep‑technical engineering roles.
• Proven success sourcing in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Robotics, Electrical, or Embedded domains.
• Experience in defense, aerospace, robotics, manufacturing, or other regulated environments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence senior technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple high‑priority searches independently in a startup‑like setting.
