About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Compensation Solutions Analyst V to support and advance its compensation and performance management strategy. The role blends compensation expertise, technical analysis, and process optimization to deliver scalable solutions for global rewards programs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead initiatives to streamline compensation and performance management operations, improving workflows and implementing automation.
• Partner with HRIT and technical teams to enhance compensation systems, including integrations, data management, and reporting capabilities.
• Design, implement, and support technology‑enabled solutions for global rewards programs such as salary benchmarking, market competitiveness analysis, internal equity reviews, and compensation planning.
• Analyze compensation data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities, providing actionable recommendations.
• Serve as a trusted subject‑matter expert and consultant to internal stakeholders, partner organizations, HRIT, and the Global Rewards team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, or related field with 8+ years of Global Rewards experience.
• Experience in international, high‑tech or semiconductor environments preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex data.
• Strong understanding of global compensation practices, market trends, and regulatory requirements.
• High proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel and experience with data‑visualization tools and database management.
• Experience with Workday and Radford is preferred.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
