Senior Software Engineer – Marketing (Remote, USA Only)

About the role

We are building a world‑class marketing website for Close.com and need a senior engineer to own its technical direction. As the technical owner you’ll maintain, optimize, and instrument the site while collaborating closely with Marketing and reporting through Engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Build and continuously improve a responsive, interactive marketing website with animation and rich media.
• Own performance, technical SEO, and ensure the site is discoverable by search engines and AI agents.
• Manage the site’s infrastructure, including Sanity CMS, component libraries, integrations, and deployment pipelines.
• Implement and maintain robust measurement, tracking, and attribution systems for experiments and conversion events.
• Develop tools and automations that enable Marketing to self‑serve page creation, campaign launches, and performance monitoring.

Required profile

• 5+ years building conversion‑focused marketing websites, with a strong eye for page speed and SEO.
• Experience collaborating with non‑technical marketers and designers, providing guardrails and self‑service tooling.
• Comfortable bridging Engineering and Marketing teams and delivering impact on traffic, conversion, and revenue metrics.
• Proactive use of AI to accelerate development while maintaining craftsmanship where needed.
