Senior Project Manager

About the role

Veeva Systems is seeking a results‑driven Senior Project Manager to serve as the primary liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders. The role focuses on delivering customer implementations for life‑science companies, ensuring projects align with client objectives and are completed on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of solutions from initiation through go‑live and continuous improvement.
• Facilitate new customer implementations, managing multiple workstreams, dependencies, timelines, budget and quality.
• Monitor progress, proactively manage risks and issues, and keep projects on schedule and within scope.
• Communicate gaps, risks and timelines clearly, following up with task owners until completion.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with customers and internal teams, acting as the primary liaison.
• Guide customers in adopting Veeva best practices for long‑term value and process optimization.
• Provide proactive updates on timelines, status, risks and gaps.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and solutions.

Required profile

• B.S. or B.A. degree or equivalent experience.
• PMP certification.
• 5‑8 years of project‑management experience in software implementation, preferably in a customer‑facing role.
• Demonstrated success leading technology implementations.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to travel and work onsite for customer meetings.
