Senior Manager, Account Executive – Mid-Market

About the role

Ramp is seeking a senior manager to lead a team of Account Executives focused on hunting, pitching, and closing new Mid‑Market business. You will coach, mentor, and develop the team while collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Product, and executive leadership to drive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, develop and execute career development plans for a group of Account Executives, providing daily 1:1 coaching.
• Oversee daily activities, quota performance, and morale to ensure key performance metrics are met.
• Hire, train and onboard new AEs on Ramp’s product, buyer personas, competition, and tools.
• Strategize with sales and marketing on pipeline and prospecting initiatives.
• Build dashboards, report on team performance, and forecast to senior leadership.
• Optimize systems and processes to improve team efficiency.
• Partner with Ops to refine performance metrics and represent the AE team cross‑functionally.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of quota‑carrying sales experience as an individual contributor.
• At least 3 years building and leading high‑performing sales teams.
• Proven success in fast‑paced, results‑oriented GTM environments, preferably SaaS.
• Strong collaboration, influencing, communication and presentation skills.
• Passion for hiring and thoughtful team planning.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Salesforce.
• Experience using Looker and Excel for data analysis.
• Familiarity with email and call automation platforms.
