Senior Clinical Supplies Project & Inventory Manager (Hybrid)

About the role

The Global Clinical Supply (GCS) organization seeks a Senior Specialist to lead clinical supplies project management and inventory oversight for assigned studies. Working independently within the Planning Execution and Inventory Management Section, you will ensure material availability and smooth movement through the depot network to clinical sites.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in Clinical Trial Teams, negotiate timelines and supply strategies with cross‑functional partners.
• Establish and manage timelines for clinical supply needs per protocol, ensuring robust packaging and distribution signals for Clinical Finished Goods.
• Analyze study risks related to supply chain deliverables and develop mitigation strategies.
• Utilize tools such as IRT, Microsoft PowerApps, SWMS, Veeva, MEDS, and SAP to forecast, track, and report on clinical supplies.
• Process change controls, deviation records, and support regulatory inspections as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, engineering, scientific discipline or equivalent experience (10+ years in pharmaceutical clinical supply).
• Minimum 5 years of project management and 5 years of planning/scheduling supply chain activities.
• Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to solve unstructured problems, make risk‑based decisions and balance strategic and tactical execution.

• SAP (or Oracle) ERP system proficiency.
• Microsoft PowerApps, Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
• IRT (Interactive Response Technology) systems.
• Veeva and MEDS platforms.
• Project management and analytical problem‑solving capabilities.
