Senior Channel Partner Manager, Strategic Advisory

About the role

Ramp is building institutional partnerships with top global strategy consulting firms to influence finance transformation for CFOs and CEOs. This senior role will own and grow relationships with firms such as McKinsey, Bain, and BCG, turning executive introductions into structured, repeatable partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Own Ramp's relationships with a portfolio of top‑tier strategy and advisory firms, building credibility with senior leadership.
• Develop partnership theses, relationship maps, executive sponsor plans, and target practice wedges for each firm.
• Negotiate and close the first formal agreements and create market‑facing proof points with Ramp’s leadership, marketing, and product teams.
• Coordinate execution across Ramp, involving Account Executives, Customer Success, Product, AI Solutions, and executive sponsors.
• Maintain operating cadence with relationship maps, firm plans, account maps, and next steps.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience at a leading strategy consulting firm (e.g., McKinsey, Bain, BCG).
• Exceptional executive presence and ability to earn trust with senior leaders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple work streams and complex stakeholder environments.
• Builder’s instinct – comfortable creating structure from ambiguity.
• Willingness to travel ~25% and be based in a major metro, preferably New York.

Required skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong judgment to shift between executive conversations and working sessions.
