RN Supervisor – Clearview Surgery – Full Time Days

About the role

The RN Supervisor provides direct patient care and oversees nursing staff in the Clearview Surgery unit, ensuring high‑quality, safe surgical services.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, develop, and evaluate assigned nurses and technicians.
• Coordinate patient care, manage staffing schedules, and ensure necessary clinical supplies are available.
• Maintain a clean, sterilized operating room and gather supplies for each surgery.
• Address patient concerns pre‑surgery and promote evidence‑based nursing protocols.
• Collaborate with unit leadership, quality, safety, and experience teams to resolve conflicts and improve care.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse diploma (associate or bachelor’s degree preferred).
• 1 year RN experience or 2 years LPN experience in acute care; 2 years RN experience preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of practice and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Required skills

• Expertise in aseptic and sterile techniques.
• Strong knowledge of patient safety precautions and surgical procedures.
• Ability to monitor operational metrics such as productivity, expense management, and quality indicators.
• Proficiency with computers, software, and web‑based applications.
