About the role

Ochsner Westbank is seeking a full‑time Registered Nurse to join its Labor & Delivery unit. The role involves delivering exceptional patient care within a collaborative, inclusive team environment.

Key responsibilities

Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members while ensuring quality outcomes.
Educate patients and families, adapting communication to diverse cultural and religious needs.

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Current RN license in the state of practice and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Required skills

Proficiency with computers, software, and web‑based applications.
Effective verbal and written communication for interdisciplinary collaboration.
