Regional Wound Care Nurse – Tennessee

About the role

Limitlessli is seeking a highly skilled Regional Wound Care Nurse (RN) to serve as the subject matter expert for wound care across multiple sites in Tennessee. This 1099 consultant position offers flexibility to build your own schedule, with extensive travel to support facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advanced wound assessments, staging, treatment planning, and ongoing management for complex wounds.
• Deliver in‑person and virtual training, develop education materials, and mentor staff to improve documentation and outcomes.
• Standardize wound care protocols, monitor metrics, and lead quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with directors of nursing, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams, acting as a liaison between corporate clinical leadership and facilities.

Required profile

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 3–5 years wound‑care experience, preferably in post‑acute, SNF, or long‑term care.
• Strong communication, teaching, and independent work skills.
• Ability to travel extensively across Tennessee.

Required skills

• Wound Care Certification (e.g., WCC, CWCN, CWON) preferred.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and clinical documentation.
• Knowledge of wound‑care products, treatments, and regulatory requirements.
