Provider Operations & Strategy Lead

About the role

Sailor Health is seeking a Provider Operations & Strategy Lead to build and scale the operations and infrastructure that support clinicians using our platform. The role combines direct provider interaction, AI‑native system development, and long‑term strategic planning.

Key responsibilities

• Represent provider pain points across product, engineering, and clinical teams.
• Manage day‑to‑day provider operations, including support escalations, quality enablement, and scalable protocols.
• Transform support from an inbox into a scalable operating system, building AI support agents with engineers.
• Draft and enforce operational policies such as payroll, holidays, and patient no‑show handling.
• Own provider churn‑risk conversations, delivering clear, direct communication.
• Collect and act on NPS and provider feedback to improve onboarding, clinical, and growth processes.
• Coach and manage the provider support team to improve ticket quality, tone, and resolution speed at scale.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in operations, product, consulting, or finance at a fast‑growing startup.
• Thrives in ambiguous environments and can create repeatable systems from messy problems.
• Highly organized with strong time‑management and proactive project execution.
• Direct, high‑stakes communicator able to deliver hard messages clearly.
• People‑management instinct for coaching and improving team output.
• Passionate about improving clinician and patient experiences.

Required skills

• Experience building AI‑driven operational tools (e.g., using Claude or ChatGPT).
