Part Time Teller – Dorchester, MA

About the role

Santander is seeking a part‑time teller to join its Dorchester branch. You will be the first point of contact for customers, helping them with everyday banking needs while upholding the bank’s standards for service, security, and accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, minimize wait times, and assist with deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and other transactions.
• Handle cash, maintain accurate drawer balances, and follow all compliance and risk‑management procedures.
• Identify and refer customers to appropriate bank products, cross‑selling to deepen relationships.
• Use digital tools to educate customers on self‑service options and resolve routine inquiries.
• Support custodial duties, audits, and other operational tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and may assist nearby branches when required.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months cash‑handling experience.
• At least 6 months demonstrated customer‑service experience.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to follow policies.
• Willingness to work branch hours, including evenings and weekends.

Required skills
