Outpatient Physical Therapist – Front Street, Slidell

About the role

We are seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our Front Street location in Slidell. The role operates autonomously, delivering physical therapy services to patients referred by physicians or directly seeking care. You will evaluate patients, develop and adjust treatment plans, and monitor progress toward therapeutic goals while ensuring high-quality patient experience.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and create individualized treatment programs.
• Assess patient response to therapy and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with documentation standards.
• Achieve productivity targets related to access to care, patient experience, and quality metrics.
• Assist in program development and enhancement to meet patient and community needs.
• Adapt communication style to respect patient privacy and preferences.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current state physical therapy license or eligibility for licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Proficiency with computers, software, and web‑based applications.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to remain flexible with fluctuating schedules.
