Orthodontic Assistant – Pediatric Dental Practice

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Orthodontic Assistant (or RDA) with orthodontic experience to join our rapidly growing pediatric dental office. You will work in a fun environment dedicated to providing excellent care for children, toddlers, and teens.

Key responsibilities

• Clean, sterilize instruments and set up trays; maintain and test equipment such as sterilizers and x‑ray units.
• Perform lab procedures including pouring models, charting, and documenting exam findings.
• Keep operatory and laboratory clean, orderly, and well‑stocked.
• Collaborate with dentists and the dental team to develop preventive dental activities for the community.

Required profile

• Must love working with children and have an upbeat personality.
• OA/RDA license issued by the Dental Board.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Dentrix Ascend.
• Familiarity with dental terminology, materials, medications, and instruments.
