Operations Support Compliance Auditor

About the role

Monro, Inc., a family of automotive service and tire dealer brands, is hiring an Operations Support Compliance Auditor reporting to the Director of Operations Support. The person evaluates, inspects and audits the effectiveness of compliance and store operational tasks, visiting store locations daily and performing regularly scheduled audits. The role sits between the Store Support Center and Field Management and requires strong credibility with Field Teammates and Field Leadership. Candidates should ideally be based in San Diego, Las Vegas or San Francisco.

Key responsibilities

• Complete Tire Cycle Counts, Oil Cycle Counts, Physical Inventories, Lift Inspections, Safety Audits and Building and Equipment Inspections
• Train Teammates on completing cycle counts, physical inventories and inspections
• Support Loss Prevention investigations and collaborate with Internal Audit on remediation activities
• Develop recommendations for process improvements and efficiencies, and occasionally take part in POS testing
• Schedule and prepare Store Compliance visits up to 13 weeks in advance and communicate results to Store and District leadership
• Work with Field Leadership so compliance initiatives are executed in a timely way

Required profile

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field preferred
• 4+ years of retail management experience
• Ability to multi-task, problem-solve and manage several activities independently
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, including to large groups
• Proven influence and collaboration skills with management
• Flexibility to adapt to different work groups and environments
• Travel 75% or more in field operations
