Front Desk Receptionist - Electric Vehicle Showroom

About the role

Ever is building an AI-native auto retail platform focused on electric vehicles, with its headquarters in San Francisco and a showroom in San Diego. It is hiring a Front Desk Receptionist for an on-site position in San Diego, with no remote or hybrid work. The role gives a first impression of the brand and supports the sales and delivery process.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and check in scheduled guests, coordinate with EV Consultants and ensure a welcoming, professional first impression
• Educate customers on EV technology, incentives, charging and ownership costs, and explain post-sale support and the 90-day warranty process
• Manage the daily schedule for test drives and deliveries, confirm appointments and communicate delays or changes in real time
• Monitor showroom traffic, facilitate key hand-offs and collect guest feedback on deliveries
• Follow up with recent buyers to encourage positive reviews on Google, Yelp and other platforms
• Maintain a clean, organized front desk and lobby, including the Coffee Zone, and answer and route calls, emails and inquiries
• Track visits and appointments in internal systems and support sales and operations with data entry, paperwork and filing

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in a front desk, receptionist, retail or customer-facing role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, highly organized and able to multitask in a fast pace
• Reliable, detail-oriented, punctual and able to work with minimal supervision
• Availability during high-volume periods, weekends and month-end close
• Bilingual (English and Spanish or another language) is a plus

Required skills

• Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar)
• CRM or scheduling tools and Slack-like tools are a plus
