About the role

The Vertex Medical Affairs Postdoctoral Research Fellowship is a two‑year, full‑time program based in Boston, MA, designed for Pharm.D. graduates to deepen scientific expertise and contribute to medical affairs activities.

Key responsibilities

Develop scientific communication materials for internal education and field medical teams.
Support creation and execution of medical plans, strategic publication plans, and disease‑state communication frameworks.
Collaborate with global and US cross‑functional stakeholders to prepare materials for scientific conferences and on‑site medical activities.
Provide accurate, balanced responses to unsolicited medical information inquiries.
Rotate through elective areas such as Field Medical or US Medical to broaden experience.

Required profile

Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE‑accredited institution.
Eligibility for pharmacist licensure in Massachusetts.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong time‑management, leadership abilities, and capacity to work independently.
