Lead Auditor / Senior Auditor

About the role

The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia is seeking a Lead Auditor / Senior Auditor to plan and execute complex local and system audit engagements, providing independent assurance and professional skepticism across the Bank's operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead or assist as Auditor‑in‑Charge on complex audit projects, including planning, execution, reporting and communication with senior management.
• Conduct walkthroughs and analyses of new business processes and automated systems to assess audit controls.
• Represent the Audit Department on Bank and System workgroups, committees, and liaison assignments.
• Maintain compliance with IIA Global Internal Audit Standards and the Bank’s policies.

Required profile

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in public accounting, internal audit, consulting or controls/compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Professional certification related to auditing, accounting, or information technology (e.g., CPA, CIA, CFE, CISA, PMP).

Required skills

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification.
• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or similar credential.
• Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Project Management Professional (PMP).
