About the role
Santander is seeking a full‑time Teller for its Sharswood branch in Philadelphia. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service while processing daily banking transactions.
Key responsibilities
- Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers and maintain accurate cash drawer balances.
- Provide high‑quality customer service, minimize wait times and address banking needs.
- Identify and refer product solutions, cross‑sell bank products and educate customers on digital self‑service tools.
- Support branch compliance, risk management and fraud prevention protocols.
- Assist with custodial duties, audits and keep the work area clean and organized.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 6 months cash‑handling experience.
- At least 6 months customer‑service experience.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings.
Required skills
- Cash handling and basic math proficiency.
- Effective listening and communication abilities.
- Comfort with digital tools and basic computer use.
