Accounting Manager

About the role

We are a fast‑growing container solutions company based in Lathrop, California, looking for a strategic and hands‑on Accounting Manager to lead our accounting team and support our expanding business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the accounting department, including hiring, mentoring and performance management.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual close processes and prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Manage general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, fixed assets and revenue recognition specific to container operations.
• Evaluate and improve accounting systems, lead NetSuite ERP optimisation, reporting and integrations.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis, providing actionable insights to leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (CPA preferred).
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Proven ability to scale accounting operations in a growing, asset‑heavy company.
• Fluent in English (C1/C2 level).

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with NetSuite ERP (implementation, optimisation and reporting).
• Advanced proficiency in financial systems and ERP platforms.
