Fund Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Fund Accountant to join a fast‑growing fund administration firm serving alternative investment managers. The position is fully remote for candidates in LATAM, reporting to our Dallas office.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, maintain the general ledger, and perform monthly bank reconciliations for assigned funds.
• Calculate and record capital calls and distributions, review accruals and expense allocations.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements, footnotes, capital account roll‑forwards and investor reporting.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and industry regulations while taking ownership of assigned funds.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards and financial reporting.
• 2‑3 years of experience in audit, tax, financial services or fund administration.
• High attention to detail, analytical mindset and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Experience preparing journal entries, reconciliations and financial statements.
• Familiarity with alternative investment structures such as private equity or hedge funds.
