Statistics Internship (2027)

About the role

The Statistics Department at the Dallas Fed supports monetary policy, economic research, and regulatory functions by collecting and analyzing data. As a 2027 Statistics Intern, you will work onsite in Dallas, contributing to data accuracy and trend analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze data to ensure accuracy and identify trends impacting data users.
• Research regulatory and accounting guidelines to ensure compliance with banking policies, regulations, and GAAP.
• Review and improve current reporting processes and implement new analysis methods.
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and other collaborative sessions.

Required profile

• Background or education in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Eligibility to work in the United States (no sponsorship).

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with SQL, R, Python, or SAS (a plus).
